Coro for Universities
For almost a decade, iCadenza has worked to help musicians of all backgrounds to create pathways to career success–let us help your students find their own paths to fulfilling careers!
Students and faculty can access compact and flexible course materials led by today’s leading experts. These micro-courses build crucial professional skills, allowing students and alumni to pursue fulfilling and financially viable careers, thus increasing retention within the field of music.
Our mission is to create pathways to career success for musicians of varied backgrounds and aspirations through online education, mentorship and community.
Each expert-led Micro-Course includes a series of short, modular videos on career development topics. Along with these videos are workbooks designed by our experts to help your students engage with the topic at hand. Additionally, we provide resource lists with courses to help students dig deeper into each area.
Course highlights include:
Students have the option join our private, moderated Facebook Community to join discussions, get personalized feedback, and network with like-minded artists and professionals from around the world.
The iCadenza Team hosts small group sessions where students can ask specific questions about their projects or career development activities.
There are two ways to customize your access to Coro by iCadenza:
Designed specifically for use in the classroom, the iCadenza Career Library offers access to Coro’s library of Micro-Courses to supplement existing coursework.
When students purchase the iCadenza Career Library, they gain access to our ever-growing library of Micro-Courses created by expert contributors.
The courses are flexible, modular, and fit seamlessly into existing entrepreneurship curriculum for classroom teachers, studio instructors, or support staff.
Access is purchased by semester or by year to offer students and faculty a cost-effective option for cutting edge career development resources.
For schools looking to share the full scope of Coro by iCadenza (Course Library, Community, and Coaching), iCadenza is able to provide access to students, faculty, and support staff through a university-wide license.
Coro helps to supplement Career Center services, classroom lessons, studio courses, and even individual student studies.
For more inquiries about University Licensing, please email iCadenza’s Director of Operations, Patrick Fulton at Patrick@iCadenza.com.
“With the skills I learned in Coro, I created marketing materials for a recital and masterclass, researched and contacted presenters, and booked a short tour on the west coast. Before Coro, I didn’t know how to make projects like this a reality. Now I have so many ideas and tools to implement!”
Lisa Neher, Mezzo-Soprano & Composer
“I’ve gained clarity and boosted my confidence! It’s not just about learning, but also receiving customized feedback relevant to the individual and that’s where the difference comes in with Coro.”

“Coro truly feels like a cooperative community. Coro’s targeted approach to tackling artistic struggles is helping me get on track for developing relationships and creative endeavors. It has been so helpful to see and meet like-minded musicians and creative people.”

“Coro helps you choose the direction of your career. Coro has helped me understand why my work is valuable and how to best communicate my value to current and potential clients. It also forced me to think through some tough questions to clarify what I want to pursue in the way of work, which makes the path to getting there easier.
There are so many paths for musicians to pursue, and realizing that I can’t do it all is really important for my career moving forward.”
